This is a list to clarify misconceptions about the Thermojet infrared body wrap. We hope this list helps people understand what the Thermojet is and what it is not.
I have heard the Thermojet is not FDA listed, is this true?
The Thermojet is listed with the FDA as a Class II, infrared device. The establishment registration number is 3003189019 and you can find it listed at Databases on the FDA Website. Sun Power Source is also registered with the FDA, registration number 3005522319, owner/operator number 9091030.
I've been told the Thermojet requires gels and oils. Is this true?
Gels and oils are completely optional when using the Thermojet Body Wraps. But, we do like to remind people that using gels and oils may accelerate the intended use of the body wrap. For instance, if you lay under the sun to obtain a tan, you will likely tan. But, using a tanning lotion will help accelerate the process and lead to better results. The same rings true with products such as cellulite gels and oils made for use with an infrared body wrap.
Is it true that the Thermojet is not mobile because it has to sit on a stand?
The Thermojet can be used with or without the trolley. In fact, we offer a Thermojet package that excludes the trolley. The trolley is a good asset, though, because you can easily roll the trolley from room to room. The trolley is also a beautiful display for the Thermojet, provides for a safe way to store infrared pads with the built-in rack and store gels with the built-in shelf. As an additional feature, the Thermojet can be anchored to just about any table or cabinet by simply using bolts screwed into the Thermojet's bolt threading.
Do you have to be wrapped nude when using the Thermojet?
Clothing, while using the Thermojet, is completely optional. Typically, spas do not require clothing with traditional wraps, but not all people are comfortable wrapping in the nude. The Thermojet allows spas to make a decision or leave it up to their guests on whether or not they would like to be wrapped clothed or nude.
Can I just use a couple of Thermojet pads without having to wrap my entire body?
Yes. The Thermojet can be used to target specific areas without having to expose your entire body to wrapping. The Thermojet has a special feature that allows you to control each and every individual infrared pad, so that you can control the intensity no matter how many pads you are using.
I heard you don't have to drink water when using the Thermojet. Is this the case?
It is important to keep yourself hydrated when using any infrared heat device. This is also true with the Thermojet Body Wraps. If you lose 6 pounds in one session, approximately half the weight loss is water loss. So, yes. It is important to replenish the water your body needs.
